THE WOMAN BEHIND THE BRAND

My mother built with her hands.
Now I build with mine.

Christine John, founder and loctician behind Blessed Handz

The name Blessed Handz begins with my mother—a talented woman of God who built businesses with her own hands through sewing, creating and the food people still talk about today.

I started doing hair around 13, practicing on my Barbie doll, then cousins, school friends and eventually clients in my mother’s basement. Hair kept finding its way back to me even while I pursued dentistry.

My dental background taught me precision, cleanliness, preparation and attention to detail. Those standards still shape the way I work today: organized setup, quality products, scalp awareness and care before appearance.

Only days before my mother passed, she told me, “Christine, your hands are blessed.” That was the push I needed to stop treating hair like a hobby and step fully into what became Blessed Handz.

Good work is in the details.
